I do not believe a person would have a problem putting the boat as is in the water and heading out for a good day's fishing, however a little refinishing, fresh coat of marine paint, etc. The trailer requires a 1 7/8 inch ball on the hitch. The gas has to be mixed with the appropriate oil which requires a 6:1 ratio. The boat also comes with two gas tanks which I believe hold six gallons.
The Evinrude Fastwin 15 ran fine nine years ago, but hasn't been used since. I have stored it in my barn for about nine years. The boat and trailer do need some refinishing and standard maintenance. It has no rust to speak of, but there is a little corrosion near the hull on the inside that appears to be superficial and easy enough to buff out.
